Sensational Yoruba actress, Yetunde Bakare’s profile
has been on a steady rise since she joined the league of top actors in
Nollywood.
The dark skinned model turned actress has proved
beyond reasonable doubt that she’s got what it takes to excel in the most
controversial industry in Nigeria with the release of her latest masterpiece
entitled Ajobi.
The high budget just released movie featured the
likes of Anta Laniyan, Fathia Balogun,
Ibrahim Chatta, Kunle Afod, Doyin Ikukoyi (Gbajumo Osere)
Ajobi, that has become the choice of good movie
lovers was produced by Yetunde Bakare
and marketed by Almaroof Standard
Investment.
After attaining success with her involvement in several
roles in other productions from the big names in the movie industry, she’s
become unstoppable and believe it or not, she is now one of the great talents
and favourites of Nollywood producers.
On July 8, 2014 the unassuming and lovable actress
celebrated her birthday with the less privileged at the Heart of Gold Children Hospice located at plot 75, Alhaji Masha
Road, Surulere Lagos. We gathered that she spent quality time with the children
at the orphanage home and showered them with gifts and kiddies products they
deserve.
Interestingly, Yetunde Bakare’s sojourn into the
movie industry started when she featured in recount movie for The Super Mom reality show years back, produced
by Sola Fajobi, the C.E.O of Digital Interactive Media, who is also the
producer of The Next Movie Star.
To keep the records, Yetunde, fondly called Lady Booboo has produced Adepoju, Ajobi and featured in some movies like; Alani Baba Labake, Yinka Eruku, Baba Goboi,
Amisu, Ayo (Game), Baba Tapa, Omo Olodo to mention few. And, to say she’s
really on top her game would definitely not be an understatement.
