 Oba Sayo Sunday Oyewumi Oyelowo the Elelega of Elega is no doubt a blessing to the people and the entire community of Elega in Ogbomoso.

The new king of Elega community has been a force to reckon with since his colourful coronation last year to the admirations of people far and near.

Information has it that the welfare and development of his people is more important to him than the title as Elelega of Elega.

The people’s king was born into the family of Oyewumi Oyelowo from the famous community of  Elega in Ogbomosho, where he grew up amongst his friends and peers.

He attended Ijero Baptist Day School, Ogbomosho before moving to Ogbomosho High. Then, went for professional training in Secretariat Administration, where he started work at the initial stage.

In pursuit to further his education, he gained admission to Yaba College of Technology, Yaba Lagos to obtain HND in Business Administration. He later went for his PGD in reputable University of Lagos, Akoka against all odds while still working to survive as an independent entrepreneur doing what he knows how to do best...Business of course!

Oba Oyelowo is an astute entrepreneur from his youth and grew rapidly in business innovations. After finishing his PGD, he went fully into business with the key knowledge he has a business administrator. No wonder he is a successful business man today.

Those who should know disclosed that the Elelega of Elega is an adventurer that loves travelling. And, he has been to countries such as Rome, Australia, England, Paris, Bangkok, Dubai and other tourist destinations in different part of the world.

We also gathered Oba Oyelowo is a jolly good fellow, who is so passionate about Yoruba tradition and culture. He is a respected monarch in his community and he has been an instrument in the progress and development of Elega and Ogbomosho as a whole within the short time of his ascension to the throne.

Oba Sayo Sunday Oyewuyi Oyelowo is a king that respects hierarchy and follows the rules of tradition without bias. He has a cordial relationship with Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II.

Findings revealed that he is a credible and trustworthy business man with sustainable business empire and contracts locally and abroad.

He recently stage a talk of the town event at the Elega Community in Ogbomoso which saw in attendance other reputable community obas like Alarolu of Arotu, Oba Olubayo Adebiyi,Onideure of Ideure, Oluwo Ate of Iwo Ate and Onitapa of Tapa to mention few that graced the unusual and memorable event in Elega Community in Ogbomoso, Oyo state.
