UNCOVERED! HOW BOKO HARAM & HERDSMEN MOVEMENT FORCED FEMI AWONUSI TO GO ON EXILE

MR. FEMI AWONUSI

Believe it or not, the increasing menace of Boko Haram in Nigeria is making thousands of Nigerians doing what they need to do to jet out the once great country and pride of African continent known as Nigeria.

Information made available revealed that another resourceful talent in the country known as Femi Awonusi, an indigene of Owoh in Ondo State had gone on exile due to incessant threat to his life and attack on family members because of his refusal to join the Boko Haram movement in Nigeria.

Further investigation showed that Femi Awonusi, who was brave and skillful Man-O-War officer before he ran out of the country used to be one of the training commanders in the paramilitary force before he was approached by his junior rank Man-O-War officers who were specially trained by him that they would like him to join the league of the recruits for the Boko Haram movement campaign to be launched soon in the South-West Region of Nigeria.

We gathered that most of the trained members of Man-O-War paramilitary squad by Femi Awonusi, who are now members of the Boko Haram still respects him and they were alleged to had approached him to join the Boko Haram movement in the South-West with a tag that ‘Western or Non-Islamic Education is a sin”. More so, Boko Haram not only opposes Western education but Western culture and modern science as well.

Checks revealed that no doubt Boko Haram is very active in the Northern part of Nigeria and it has been there plans to spread across other geo-graphical zones of the country to create more havoc and insurgencies to carry on with their deadly acts to make the entire country unsafe for both lives and properties. And, this is one of the main reasons the South-West Governors decided to form a joint community security network known as “Amotekun” to fight against the penetration of the ruthless Boko Haram sect to the entire South-West region.

Before his exile, it was also alleged that Femi Awonusi had been attacked several times, brutalized and dehumanized by his once junior paramilitary officers that he trained to be useful for their mother’s land in the bit to give support to the security networks of the country. He was once kidnapped by the Boko Haram recruitment officers for 6 days under serious torture. On the pretense that he had agreed to join them and be in-charge of training the new young recruited members in their camp, he told them to give him some time to make the necessary arrangement but he escaped and decided to run for his dare life disclosed one of his close associate in Nigeria.

Another source, divulged that he doesn’t think he would ever come back from God knows where he is now because he is wanted and marked for death by the devil mercenaries in the Boko Haram movement alleged to penetrate the South-West region of Nigeria.

For the records, not only Femi Awonusi that has been a victim of Boko Haram recruitment plots, we gathered that there were hundreds of Nigeria youths that were cajoled and even forced to be members of the ruthless group in this part of the world and this is a clarion call for the Nigerian Government to look more in-ward and be pro-active in beefing up the security in the country, Nigeria.
