SPECIAL PRAYER & THANKSGIVING FOR DR. OBAFEMI KADIRI HAMZAT AND PRINCESS DAMILOLA SONAYON JAMES ENDS IN GLORIOUS SUCCESS -goBIGnews

  

Lagos, Nigeria - The Special Prayer & Thanksgiving organized for the success of Dr. Obafemi Kadiri Hamzat, Lagos State APC Governorship Candidate 2027, and Princess Damilola Sonayon James, Lagos State APC Deputy Governorship Candidate 2027, was held in a spiritually charged atmosphere and ended in resounding success.

The event, hosted by Tanwa Balogun, brought together Islamic scholars, political leaders, party faithful, friends and well-wishers who gathered with one voice to commit the aspiration of the duo into the hands of Almighty Allah (SWT).

The programme witnessed the presence of prominent political leaders and APC stalwarts, led by Oboli, the Apex Leader, and Otunba Femi Davies, the Ward Chairman, whose presence gave the event strong political weight and grassroots significance.

Other distinguished personalities present included Honourable Hakeem Muniru, former Member, House of Representatives for Oshodi/Isolo and a Member of the KOH/DSJ Campaign Committee, Alhaja Aminat Akerele, the mother of Deputy Chairman of Onigbogbo and Ikeja LCDA Apex leader, Chief Mrs. Okeowo and her husband, Engineer Yomi Hassan, alongside other well-wishers, supporters and lovers of a better Lagos.

 

Their attendance was a clear demonstration of unity, loyalty and collective resolve behind the Hamzat / James ticket for a greater Lagos.

The Special Prayer Session was led by Fadilatul Khalifah Alhaji Abd'Razak Abdullah (Al-Miskinubillah), featuring soul-lifting Qur'anic recitations, Adhkar, and special Du'a for the success, protection, good health and resounding victory of Dr. Hamzat and Princess James.

Special prayers were also offered for Lagos State, Nigeria, and for peace, progress and purposeful leadership in 2027 and beyond.

A short but powerful Islamic Lecture (Tafsir) on Leadership, Trust and Service to Humanity reminded all present that true leadership is a trust from Allah and must be discharged with sincerity, humility and service to the people.

The event was beautifully anchored and moderated by Honourable Kanbi Owolabi, the Assistant Print Media Director for CityBoy Movement, Lagos State Chapter, who kept the programme lively, orderly and strictly on time in honour of Zuhr Prayer.

Goodwill messages from political leaders and associates, followed by the vote of thanks, added colour and emotional depth to the gathering.

Speaking on behalf of the organizers, the Host, Tanwa Balogun, expressed profound appreciation to the Chief Host, the scholars, the Apex Leader, the Ward Chairman, Hon. Hakeem Muniru, Alhaja Aminat Akerele, Chief Mrs. Okeowo, Engineer Yomi Hassan, Hon. Kanbi Owolabi, and all guests who honoured the invitation.

She noted that the massive turnout and the sincerity of the prayers were proof that the KOH/DSJ project is not just a political aspiration, but a movement embraced by the people and divinely backed.

The programme ended with the Closing Du'a, group photographs, refreshment and joyful departure.
